Aleshia and Austin | SF City Hall Elopement all the way from Arkansas
Some love stories don’t need a guest list — just two people, a big city, and a whole lot of style. Aliesha and Austin flew in from Arkansas for a San Francisco elopement that felt part old Hollywood, part spontaneous adventure, and 100% them.
We started with quiet, moody moments at their hotel — soft light, clean lines, and details that set the tone for a day full of classic romance. But this wasn’t just about the photos. Before we kicked things off, I swung by Safeway (yes, shoutout to Safeway cakes — they taste as good as they look!) to pick up their wedding cake and grabbed fresh peonies from a Mission Street flower vendor to add a little pop of color and sweetness to their story.
Instead of rushing from spot to spot, we let San Francisco City Hall be the heart of the day. We explored grand staircases, chased shadows across marble floors, snagged those iconic elevator shots, and ended with that classic front-door exit moment. Their ceremony? A quiet, heartfelt exchange just outside the City Hall gates — undisturbed, personal, and completely theirs.
We skipped the Palace of Fine Arts and let the energy stay where it felt right — wrapped up in all the Hollywood glam, playful moments, and genuine connection they brought with them.
Minimalist. Romantic. Effortlessly cool. This was a day that proved you don’t need a crowd for a story that’s big on heart.
Here’s a look at their elopement — timeless, playful, and packed with all the best kind of magic.
