Wedding Photography Booking & Delivery Timeline
For many of clients, this is their first (or 2nd) wedding, and they are not sure what to expect. To support you in your wedding planning journey, I have outlined a "wedding photography" timeline of my booking and delivery process. Enjoy and contact me if you have questions :)
STEP 1: Schedule a Consultation
BEFORE YOU CONTACT ME
Check to make sure I will be in your area on your wedding day. I travel between the Bay Area and Mendocino quite a bit. Visit my 2022 calendar here :)
Submit contact form
After you complete my brief contact form, you will immediately receive my wedding photography pricing brochure in your email inbox. If you have any flexibility with your wedding date, please let me know.
I will confirm my availability
Within 24 hours of your request, I will confirm my availability (or unavailability) for your wedding date via email.
Schedule a consultation
If I am available, I will send you a link to schedule a consultation with me. During this call we will get to know each other, laugh, discuss your wedding plans, and talk about packages. Oh, yeah...and we will laugh lol.
STEP 2: Book Me
Complete a brief wedding intake form
When you are ready to book me, I will send you a brief questionnaire to collect a few details. This will allow me to prepare your wedding contract and invoice (50% deposit),

Once you have submitted your responses, it usually takes me 24-48 hours to prepare your contract and invoice.
Sign the contract and pay the invoice
Once you have signed the contract and paid your deposit, we are officially booked!
STEP 3: Prepare for your Wedding Day
You will gain access to my Wedding Photography Guide
Once we are booked, I will give you access to my NEW wedding photography guide, which contains tips and suggestions to help us make the most of our time together.
Schedule your engagement session
If you booked an engagement session with me, now is the perfect time to schedule it so that you receive your engagement photos in time. It usually takes me 30 days to deliver a full collection of engagement photos. If you need them sooner, I usually can accommodate that. Just let me know.
Final Check-in Before Your Wedding Day
Exactly 45 days before your wedding, I will send you an email to check-in, schedule our final consultation (to review your itinerary, confirm start and end times, confirm wedding locations) and share a few tips/reminders. I will also send you a form to collect info on your awesome vendors, and connect with your wedding coordinator.
STEP 4: On your Wedding Day
Arrive Early
I will arrive 30-45 minutes prior to my scheduled time to check in with your wedding coordinator (and officiant and DJ if they are available). I will also use this time to scout for photo shoot locations, and prepare my camera and lighting equipment.
STEP 5: After your Wedding Day
Next day: Teaser photos
Congratulations! Your wedding planning is complete and now you get to rest! And to celebrate this awesome moment, I will email you one or more wedding teasers to share and enjoy with your friends and family.
30-60 days later: Your wedding photo collection
When your wedding collection is done, I will email you a link to access your online gallery. You can share this gallery with friends and family, as well as download ALL of your images (high resolution and watermark-free) and order prints.
ADD-ON: Wedding Albums and Prints
If you ordered a wedding album and prints, you will receive an email providing instructions on how to select your favorite images. I will use these images inform the creation of your album. Depending on how quickly you get me your favorite images, a wedding album can take one month or several months to be delivered. And don't worry, you will have an opportunity to request revisions before the album is sent to the printers.
ADD-ON: Videography
If you book your videography through me, it usually takes 4-8 weeks for your video to be delivered. The videographer I partner with is ShanaGarrettFilms.com. Check her out! She is amazing!
