Some wedding days just hit different — and this one? Absolutely delivered. From the moment we started, this elopement felt like a dream team production: me, my assistant, and the incredible Artrecia, their makeup artist (who honestly deserves a standing ovation). Artrecia and I have been working together for over three years, and every time we team up, the photos hit that flawless, cinematic vibe. If you ever get the chance to have your makeup artist come along for your shoot — do it. Those real-time touch-ups? Total game changer.

We kicked things off at San Francisco City Hall, chasing that signature morning light on the grand staircase before checking in for their ceremony. Their officiant — kind, warm, and full of heart — made the vows feel even more special. Then we made our way to some of my favorite photo spots inside City Hall: the second floor with its soft, glowing light, the breathtaking fourth floor, and a few elevator shots that honestly might be some of my favorite elevator photos ever.

We wrapped with a classic City Hall exit moment, then headed over to the Sausalito Marina for Golden Gate views — the perfect grand finale to a day that blended old Hollywood glam with pure Black love magic.

And after years of working this kind of magic with Artrecia, we finally decided… it’s time. We’re officially launching our Old Hollywood Glam City Hall Experience — a signature package designed for couples who want stunning, editorial-style elopement photos with that flawless glam touch.
