Loretta and Andrew’s Palace Hotel San Francisco wedding was exactly the vibe they described from the beginning: fun, silly, and editorial. Their ceremony took place in Sunset Court, followed by a reception in the Ralston Room at the iconic Palace Hotel. The Palace is also part of Loretta’s family story — her father worked at the hotel for nearly 30 years — which made the setting feel even more meaningful. One of Loretta’s biggest requests was simple: take lots of photos of the guests. The day was designed to feel like a reunion of their favorite humans, and they plan to send photos to friends and family afterward so everyone gets a little piece of the celebration.
This wedding was also a great example of collaboration. During a site visit with the couple and the Palace team, we walked through the hotel and mapped out how we would photograph each space. We created portraits across from the Garden Court, using the dramatic ceiling and chandeliers to frame the image. We also made time to stop by the legendary Pied Piper Bar, which the couple absolutely loves, grabbing wedding party photos and portraits in the iconic high-back green leather chairs. Throughout the day the focus was wide, layered images that showed people doing their thing — guests laughing, conversations happening, and the couple right in the middle of it all. The teasers below are just a glimpse, but their full gallery is packed with photos celebrating their people, their vibe, and a wedding day that was full of personality.
